Perfect network
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008629
A theoretical polymer network in which all polymer chains are elastically active and contribute to the mechanical properties, and there are no dangling ends or unreacted functional groups. Such a network exhibits ideal elastic behavior. Real polymer networks always deviate from this ideal due to structural imperfections.
