Perfectly polarized interphase
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008630
An interface between two phases, typically an electrode and an electrolyte, across which no charge transfer occurs in either direction, regardless of the applied potential. This means that no electrochemical reactions take place at this interface. Such an interphase behaves like a pure capacitor, storing charge without current flow.
