Potential at the point of zero charge

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009314

The electrical potential of an electrode or interface when its net surface charge density is zero. This potential is measured relative to a reference electrode. It is a characteristic property of an electrode material in a specific electrolyte solution and is influenced by specific adsorption of ions.
