Non-polarized interphases
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008044
Interfacial regions where the electrical potential difference across the interface is not significantly affected by the passage of a small electric current. This implies that charge transfer reactions occur readily across the interface. Such interphases are characteristic of ideally non-polarizable electrodes, where the electrode potential is determined by the redox couple in solution.
