Poison-bearing

Describing an organism, substance, or material that naturally contains or produces a toxic compound capable of causing harm or death upon exposure. This characteristic is often a defense mechanism in plants and animals against predators. Many species of snakes, spiders, and certain plants are considered poison-bearing.
