Polygenic control
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009140
The genetic regulation of a trait or characteristic by the combined action of multiple genes, rather than a single gene. These genes often interact with environmental factors to produce a continuous range of phenotypes. Examples include human height, skin color, and susceptibility to many complex diseases.
