Polyfluorenes

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009139

A class of conjugated polymers based on fluorene units, which are tricyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. These polymers exhibit strong blue photoluminescence and high charge carrier mobilities. Polyfluorenes are widely used in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic field-effect transistors due to their excellent electronic and optical properties.
