Polyvinylcarbazoles

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009259

Polymers containing carbazole units directly attached to a vinyl backbone, formed by the polymerization of N-vinylcarbazole monomers. The carbazole moiety provides excellent electron-donating properties and high triplet energy. These polymers are extensively studied for their photoconductive and electroluminescent properties, making them suitable for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and photorefractive materials.
