Polyvinyl ketone

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009258

A polymer formed from the polymerization of vinyl ketone monomers, characterized by a repeating unit containing a ketone functional group directly attached to the polymer backbone. These polymers are typically synthesized via free-radical polymerization. An example is poly(methyl vinyl ketone), which has applications in photochemistry.
