Polyhedranes

A class of saturated polycyclic hydrocarbons where the carbon atoms form the vertices of a regular or semiregular convex polyhedron. The general formula for these cage-like structures is (CH)n, where n is the number of vertices. Examples include tetrahedrane (n=4), cubane (n=8), and dodecahedrane (n=20).
