Klado-
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006365
A prefix used in inorganic nomenclature to describe a cluster compound that has a branched or open-chain structure, representing a further opening of the cluster framework compared to hypho- clusters. This structure is derived from a nido- cluster by removing four vertices from a closed polyhedral framework. The general formula for klado-boranes is BnHn+10.
