Polymolecularity correction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009205
A correction applied to a measured relationship between a property, such as intrinsic viscosity or radius of gyration, and molar mass when the samples are non-uniform in molar mass. It converts the relationship into the one that strictly uniform polymers would show. The aim is to remove the distortion caused by the spread of chain lengths present within each fraction.
