Prepreg
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009400
A composite material consisting of a fibrous reinforcement, such as carbon or glass fibers, that has been pre-impregnated with a partially cured polymer resin. This material is supplied in a ready-to-mold form, requiring only heat and pressure to fully cure into a solid composite. Prepregs are widely used in aerospace and automotive industries for high-performance components.
