Carbon cloth
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001633
A textile material woven from carbon fibers, providing a flexible and strong fabric structure. It is produced by carbonizing a woven precursor fabric, such as rayon or polyacrylonitrile (PAN). Carbon cloth is used as a reinforcement in composite materials, particularly in high-performance applications requiring strength and light weight.
