Q-e scheme
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009714
A semi-empirical model used to predict the monomer reactivity ratios in radical copolymerization. The 'Q' parameter represents the resonance stabilization of the monomer and its radical, while 'e' describes the polarity of the monomer and its radical. This scheme provides a framework for understanding and predicting the composition of copolymers formed from different monomer pairs.
