Azeotropic copolymerisation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001046
A specific type of copolymerization where the instantaneous composition of the copolymer formed is identical to the composition of the monomer mixture. This implies that the monomer feed composition does not change during the polymerization process. The reactivity ratios of the two monomers must satisfy a specific condition for azeotropic copolymerization to occur.
