Radian
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009807
A unit of angular measure, representing the ratio of the arc length to the radius of a circle. One radian is the angle subtended by an arc whose length is equal to the radius of the circle. This unit is dimensionless, but is often denoted by the symbol rad; 2π radians equals 360 degrees.
