Respiratory hypersensitivity assay
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010265
A laboratory test designed to detect substances that induce allergic reactions in the respiratory system. This assay measures changes in respiratory function, such as airway hyperreactivity or inflammation, after exposure to a potential allergen. Animal models, such as guinea pigs or mice, are frequently used in these assessments.
