Buehler assay

A method used to assess the potential of a substance to cause skin sensitization, primarily in guinea pigs. The test involves repeated topical applications of the test substance, followed by a challenge application to determine if an allergic contact dermatitis reaction occurs. This assay is a standard method for identifying contact allergens.
