Murine local lymph node assay

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007701

An in vivo test method used to identify potential skin sensitizers by measuring the proliferative response of lymphocytes in the draining lymph nodes of mice following topical application of a test substance. An increase in lymphoproliferation indicates a sensitizing potential. This assay is a recognized alternative to traditional guinea pig tests for skin sensitization.
