Contact dermatitis

An inflammatory skin condition resulting from direct contact with an irritating or allergenic substance. It manifests as redness, itching, swelling, and sometimes blistering of the skin. This condition can be either irritant contact dermatitis, caused by direct tissue damage, or allergic contact dermatitis, an immune-mediated response.
