Responsivity

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010272

A measure of the efficiency of a detector or sensor in converting incident radiant energy into an electrical signal. It is defined as the ratio of the electrical output (e.g., current or voltage) to the incident radiant power. Responsivity is typically expressed in units such as amperes per watt (A/W) or volts per watt (V/W).
