Rotational frequency
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010426
The number of complete revolutions or rotations executed per unit of time by a rotating object or system. This quantity is a measure of the speed of rotation and is often expressed in revolutions per minute (rpm) or revolutions per second (Hz). In centrifugation, it determines the centrifugal force applied to a sample.
