Rotometer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010441
A device for measuring the flow rate of a fluid in a closed tube, also known as a variable area flowmeter. It consists of a tapered vertical tube containing a float that rises to a height proportional to the fluid flow rate. The position of the float against a calibrated scale on the tube indicates the volumetric flow.
