Scanning technique
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010552
A general experimental approach where a physical quantity or spatial position is systematically varied to probe a sample or system. This allows for the collection of data across a range of conditions or locations. Examples include scanning electron microscopy and scanning probe microscopy, which generate images by moving a probe across a surface.
