Near-field scanning optical microscopy
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007793
A super-resolution microscopy technique that overcomes the diffraction limit of light by scanning a sub-wavelength aperture or probe in close proximity to a sample surface. This method allows for imaging and spectroscopy with spatial resolution down to tens of nanometers. It is used to characterize nanostructures and nanopatterns in polymeric materials.
