Silazanes
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010863
Compounds containing silicon-nitrogen bonds, where the silicon atoms are bonded to at least one nitrogen atom. These structures can be linear, cyclic, or polymeric, with the nitrogen atoms bridging silicon centers or terminating chains. They are analogous to siloxanes but with nitrogen replacing oxygen in the backbone.
