Specific napierian scattering coefficient

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011106

A measure of the scattering of light by a substance per unit mass concentration and per unit path length, calculated using the natural logarithm for the scattering component. It quantifies the intrinsic ability of a material to redirect incident radiation. This coefficient is typically expressed in units of L g⁻¹ cm⁻¹.
