Surface plasmon resonance assay
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011658
An optical technique used to detect and quantify molecular interactions in real time without the need for labels. It measures changes in refractive index at a metal-dielectric interface caused by binding events on a sensor surface. This method is widely applied in drug discovery for determining binding kinetics and affinity constants.
