Synchronously excited spectrum
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011749
A type of fluorescence spectrum where both the excitation and emission monochromators are scanned simultaneously with a constant wavelength difference. This technique reduces spectral overlap and enhances the signal from specific fluorophores in complex mixtures. The constant wavelength difference, often denoted as Δλ, is chosen to match the Stokes shift of the analyte.
