TICT emission

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012055

The fluorescence emitted from a twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) state. This emission typically occurs at a longer wavelength and with a larger Stokes shift compared to emission from the locally excited state. The spectral characteristics of TICT emission provide insights into the charge separation and molecular geometry in the excited state.
