Trophic structure

The organization of an ecosystem based on the feeding relationships among its constituent organisms. It describes the flow of energy and nutrients through different trophic levels, such as producers, primary consumers, secondary consumers, and decomposers. This structure is often represented as a food chain or food web, illustrating who eats whom within the community.
