Tumorigenic

Describing the ability of a cell, substance, or agent to induce or promote the formation of a tumor. This property indicates a potential to cause uncontrolled cell growth and proliferation, leading to the development of neoplasms. Tumorigenic agents can be chemical, physical, or biological in nature.
