Twin-tracer technique
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012369
A method employing two distinct tracers, typically isotopes or labeled compounds, to simultaneously investigate two different physiological or environmental processes within the same system. This approach allows for direct comparison and differentiation of the fates or kinetics of the two tracers under identical conditions. It minimizes inter-individual variability and external influences, providing more precise relative measurements.
