Two-dimensional correlation spectrum

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012375

A graphical representation generated by two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy, displaying the correlation between spectral intensity changes at different wavenumbers or frequencies. It consists of a contour map with auto-peaks along the diagonal, indicating self-correlation, and cross-peaks off-diagonal, signifying synchronous or asynchronous changes between different spectral bands. This spectrum provides information on the sequence of molecular events.
