Whole embryo culture
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012693
An in vitro technique used to maintain and grow intact mammalian embryos outside the maternal environment for a defined period. This method allows for the study of embryonic development, organogenesis, and the effects of teratogens without maternal influence. Embryos are typically cultured in a nutrient-rich medium under controlled atmospheric conditions.
