Zwitterionic polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012822
A polymer containing both positively and negatively charged groups within its repeating units, resulting in an overall neutral charge. These polymers exhibit unique properties, such as high hydrophilicity, resistance to protein adsorption, and tunable solubility. They are often used in biomedical applications and as antifouling coatings.
