Crossatron

A cold-cathode, gas-filled, crossed-field switching tube used for high-power, high-repetition-rate applications. It combines features of a thyratron and a vacuum switch, offering fast turn-on times and the ability to interrupt current flow. These devices are found in systems like radar modulators and high-power laser drivers, handling voltages up to 100 kV.
