Ultra large scale integration

A classification of integrated circuits that contain millions or billions of transistors on a single chip. This level of integration enables the creation of complex microprocessors, memory chips, and system-on-a-chip (SoC) devices. ULSI technology is a progression from earlier scales like large-scale integration (LSI) and very large-scale integration (VLSI).
