Certification mark

A type of trademark used to indicate that goods or services meet certain standards or characteristics established by a certifying body. The owner of the mark does not produce the goods or services but certifies them. Examples include the 'UL' mark for safety standards or 'Good Housekeeping Seal' for product quality.
