Nonsuit

A judgment entered against a plaintiff who fails to proceed with their case or present sufficient evidence to support their claim during a trial. This dismissal occurs before a verdict is reached by a jury or a final decision by a judge. A nonsuit can be voluntary, initiated by the plaintiff, or involuntary, ordered by the court.
