Chlorosity
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004289
A measure of the concentration of chloride ions in a solution, expressed as the number of grams of chloride per liter of solution. This metric is sometimes used in oceanography as an alternative to chlorinity, which is based on mass per mass. It is influenced by both the amount of chloride and the density of the water.
