Conductance for moisture

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-004585

A measure of the ease with which water vapor can move through a material or across an interface, such as between a leaf and the atmosphere. It quantifies the rate of water vapor transfer per unit of vapor pressure difference. This parameter is often expressed in units of meters per second and is inversely related to resistance to moisture flow.
