Diffusion velocity

Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005013

The average velocity at which particles or molecules move due to diffusion, driven by a concentration gradient. It represents the net rate of transport of a substance from a region of higher concentration to lower concentration. This velocity is proportional to the diffusion coefficient and the concentration gradient.
