Directional-hemispherical reflectance
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005043
The ratio of the radiant flux reflected into a hemisphere to the radiant flux incident on a surface from a specific direction. This property quantifies how a surface reflects light depending on the angle of illumination. It is a fundamental parameter in remote sensing and radiative transfer models for characterizing land surface properties.
