Dynamical system
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005215
A mathematical model that describes the time evolution of a system's state based on a set of rules or equations. In meteorology, these systems are used to represent atmospheric and oceanic processes, often exhibiting complex and sometimes chaotic behavior. Weather prediction models are a prime example of large-scale dynamical systems.
