Electrical hygrometer
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005312
An instrument that measures atmospheric humidity by detecting changes in the electrical properties of a sensing element as it absorbs or desorbs water vapor. Common types include those that measure changes in electrical resistance or capacitance. These devices are widely used in radiosondes and automatic weather stations for continuous humidity monitoring.
