Glacial drift

All rock and sediment material transported and deposited by a glacier or by meltwater streams originating from a glacier. This includes both till, which is unsorted material deposited directly by ice, and stratified drift, which is sorted by meltwater. Glacial drift deposits are widespread in regions that were formerly glaciated.
