Mixing line
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007338
A graphical representation on a thermodynamic diagram, such as a skew-T log-P chart, that connects the properties of two distinct air masses. Any point along this line represents the properties of a mixture of these two air masses. It is used to analyze the potential for cloud formation or precipitation when different air masses interact.
