Monochromatic

Describing electromagnetic radiation that consists of a single wavelength or a very narrow band of wavelengths. In atmospheric science, monochromatic radiation is used in remote sensing instruments to isolate specific absorption or emission lines of atmospheric gases. Lasers are a common source of monochromatic light.
